Douglas J. Allen, P. G. (Professional Goofinologist)

Douglas Allen is the founder of Allen Entertainment and the philosophy of Goofinology.

He has been an entertainer since 1994 and has been practicing the science of goofinology for 21 years.  He was a former performer of 12 years on the Palace Patrol, an interactive cheer squad at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  He, along with his other team members, entertained the crowd, started cheers, and ran the "on the court games" during breaks and timeouts at the NBA - Detroit Pistons, IHL - Detroit Vipers,  and WNBA - Detroit Shock home games.  His other affiliations include QTMC, a locally-based non-profit musical group specializing in positive, motivational performances.  He also regularly helped with promotions for the MYTV20.    His many years of working in the entertainment industry gives him the knowledge and experience to make any event come alive with any kind of party experience you can imagine.   

Clients and venues of Allen Entertainment have included: Quickens Loans, Bedrock Management, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Company, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Oakland University, Grand Rapids Community College, Autoliv, Southfield Parks and Rec, Holy Family School, Hazel Park Schools, and many, many churches.

        The Goofinologists believe in the power of laughter, fun and of course, GOOFINESS.  We strive to provide excellent, interactive entertainment to ensure that your special day will never be forgotten.

        Allen Entertainment is a children's, family and corporate party planning and entertainment company based in Waterford, Michigan.  The Goofinologists at Allen Entertainment specialize in serving southeast Michigan with party planning services for events and parties of all types.  Whether corporate or private, Allen Entertainment features personalized events with a large array of entertainment options.  From interactive shows featuring balloon sculptures, face painting, and caricatures to storytelling, moonwalks and stilt walking. We provide all the fun at birthday parties, family reunions, picnics, grand openings, corporate teambuilding and special promotions.

    Allen Entertainment was started off in 1999 doing small, private birthday parties and has grown, year after year, with new and creative ideas and tools to continually bring new and fresh entertainment to our client.  We also perform for theme parties, such as Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas.
